GAME RULES

 

Gridiron 5 is a modified version of the traditional Pick'em football pool, where you only select the winner of five NFL games of your choice before the weekly deadline. All pools are private and can only be viewed by players that have joined the pool. Game matchups, spreads, scores, and leaderboard, pertaining to the pool, are provided within the app.

 

HOW TO PLAY

1. From the Home screen, click Join a Pool and do the following:

   1. Introduce a Pool ID and Password or Pool Link.

   2. Introduce a Pick Name.

   3. Click Join Pool.

2. To make your pick selections, go to My Picks and do the following:

   1. Select the winner of five NFL games from the weekly game schedule.

   2. In addition, select one backup winner (the backup will play as the 5th game if one of your first five chosen games gets canceled).

   3. To select the winner of a different game after completing your pick selections, you must first unselect the winner of another game.

   4. Do the same for each additional entry, if applicable.

RULES

1. The Pool Admin decides if the pool is played against the spread or not. If played against the spread, the spread will be used as the win/lose determinator. Otherwise, the game's final score will be used.

2. Spreads will be uploaded on Tuesday mornings and viewable under My Picks, prior to the first game of the week (Thursday).

3. All pick selections must be submitted by the deadline: Five minutes before the first game of the week.

4. If a player misses the pick selection deadline, the player forfeits all games for that week.

5. If a player wins their five selected games against the spread, they are considered a winner for that week.

   1. Winners will be labeled in green under Group and default to the top of the screen.

   2. There are no tiebreakers. If there are multiple winners for a week, prize distributions are left to the Pool Admin’s discretion.

6. Standings/Leaderboard will display all players within a pool, along with their total wins and losses for the season, from most to least wins.

   1. The top three players based on most wins will be labeled in green.

 OTHER

1. Go to Group to view all player picks by week, sorted by most to least wins.

2. Go to Standings to view all player standings for the season, sorted by most to least wins.

3. Go to Profile (top right) to edit your personal information, change password, and other resources.
